The summer days can get excruciatingly hot. Stay cool in the summer heat by protecting yourself from the sun's harmful rays and staying well hydrated.

The summer heat can really get to people. The sweating and shortness of breath can drain one's energy. There are three things here that can help with staying cool in the summer heat. Sure, air conditioners, fans and water can help a great deal, but what about sun protection, nutrients and some good deodorant?

Protect Yourself from the Sun's Harmful Rays

The Sun Protection Zone makes and sells a line of clothing for men, women and children with UVA and UVB protection in it. Sometimes sunblock just isn't enough. Sun Protection Zone's Booney Hat is a must-have for staying cool in the summer heat. It comes in khaki, pink and blue. It seems quite large at first, but after trying it on it fits great. It feels very comfortable. Knowing that it has the maximum sun protection in it is comforting. The chin strap would help in windy situations at the beach or park. Inside there is a velcro adjustment so it can be made smaller or larger.

Stay Well Hydrated in the Summer Heat

Staying cool in the summer heat includes not getting dehydrated. Dehydration can lead to fatigue, kidney failure, coma, shock, heart-related illnesses, and electrolyte abnormalities. Staying hydrated can also help prevent heat stroke or heat exhaustion. Vita Coco is a beverage made to help people stay hydrated and cool in the summer heat. It is made of 100% natural coconut water. The containers are unique and interesting. After tasting the variety of flavors, the preferred one is the 100% pure coconut water with no added flavors in it. The flavors to choose from are acai and pomegranate, pineapple, peach and mango, and tangerine. The drink is extremely refreshing. Vita Coco claims to have more than 15 times the electrolytes that are found in sports drinks. Electrolytes are what help keep people hydrated longer than plain water.

Stay Fresh and Avoid Yellow Stains on your tees

Another part of staying cool during the summer heat is keeping the sweat and smell in check. Lady Speed Stick Men's and Women's can help with that. The Lady Speed Stick with Stainguard and Men's Speed Stick with Stainguard works pretty well. It is preferred to not have white marks in the armpits, though. However, it does effectively fight those yellow stains on clothes from sweat. It has antiperspirant and deodorant in it for maximum effect.

Stay cool in the summer heat with SPF protection. Stay hydrated. Avoid yellow sweat stains on your clothes. Prevent skin cancer, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, and sunburns. Enjoy the summertime instead of dreading it.
